Thanks alot for creating this page. Since I read it I have already recieved $2,000 for things I do around my neighborhood. There is really alot of money out there that many of us college bound students didn't know about. THANKS!!!

My name is Margaret, and I have won a Daughter's of the American Revolution Scholarship. Although I didn't win the $1,000 scholarship sponsored by the Fairfax County (VA) chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, they said my "application had merit" and gave me a $250 grant. Just goes to show that you don't have to win the scholarship to get something out of it.

"My name is Rosebud and I am on a scholarship here at NYU, but due to the rising cost of housing, I had to look for outside aid. Thanks to you and your sources, I found the Leopold Schepp Foundation and there are contributing $3000 to my education."

"The Elks Lodge has a "Most Valuable Student" scholarship contest and, though the form is quite lengthy, perserverance pays off! I have been awarded $800 from the local Elks Lodge and $1000 from the State Level of the MVS scholarship. Thanks so much for such a great, FREE service!!!!!!!!!!!"

By the way, in 1997 Brandon read about "Bolt Reporter" in my Newsletter, submitted an article to them and they published it (hey, I'm GLAD the Broncos won, Brandon!)

• Janice Shomo is the proud winner of the Business and Professional Women's Career Advancement Scholarship for $1,000.00 and the Charlotte W. Newcombe Foundation Scholarship for $2,000.

• John diCorso, who taking the advice of several of the FreSch! volunteers decided to go to community college first - and got a full tuition & books scholarship from the community college!

• Congratulations to Kirsten Reisz, of Albuquerque, New Mexico!! Kirsten is the "Grand Prize" winner of the FreSch! Air Force Reserve Trivia Contest! Kirsten has won $500! Also, congratulations to our two second-prize winners, Wendy Harris of Oak Park, Illinois and Angela Eligio, of Pensacola, Florida. Wendy and Angela have each won $75 gift certificates for CompUSA!
• Congratulations to Jeffrey S. Marsilo and all the other winners of the 1999 "Let's Get Creative!" scholarship.
• Congratulations to Julia Besse of Pawcatuck, Connecticut, the winner of the $250 eStudentLoan "Name the Mascot" contest! She submitted "The Loan Ranger" as the mascot's name "because he roams the loan possibilities for us." There were 48 people who submitted "The Loan Ranger," so we picked her name at random.
• Congratulations to Kim Porcaro of Radford, Virginia, the winner of the $500 eStudentLoan.com "Ultimate Find the Typo!" contest!
